A Great Place to Begin

The Saint Mary Preschool program offers a positive and happy introduction to learning in a school setting.

Our Philosophy

The Catholic Faith is the heart of our program. Children are nurtured and inspired to live and model the words and actions of Jesus Christ.

Each child is recognized as a unique gift from God with individual learning styles and growth patterns. Our early childhood program establishes a positive, happy introduction to learning in a school setting and prepares students for kindergarten in a manner that demonstrates a respect for the dignity and needs of the child.

Our Approach

Play-based learning that fosters social and emotional development

Hands-on activities to teach skills in Language, Math, Science, Social Studies, Creative Arts and Motor Abilities

Guided exploration to develop creativity, curiosity, and a love of learning

Students attend preschool either two or three days per week from 9:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Before School is available from 7:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m.  Preschool students who are no longer in diapers may also enroll in the elementary school After School Care program which is open until 6:00 p.m.  A limited number of spots are available for full time students.  There are three self-contained preschool classrooms for students two through five years of age.  Each class is taught by two teachers working together in order to provide a safe and loving environment for play, guided exploration and hands on learning activities. These competent and dedicated teachers work as partners with parents in educating their children and serve as role models of the Catholic faith by demonstrating love and compassion to all of their students.
